I am an IT Tutor with a speciality in Accessibility Software. I’ve spent almost a decade teaching older people to use computers. I work on the basis that age and experience are no barrier – I teach absolute beginners or those increasing their knowledge.
I am an Accredited Digital Champion and a tutor-assessor for the Digital Unite Academy.
Where I cover: SW London – Tooting, Wandsworth, Wimbledon, Merton, Lambeth.

About me
I am originally from Wales but have lived in London since the mid 80′s and worked in publishing or marketing for most of these years. I am passionate about the role that computers can play in peoples lives not just for research (such as family history) but also for elderly and disabled people to maintain independence.
When not working for DU I work for a charity that teaches disabled people computer skills in their own home. A large number of these students are visually impaired and the benefits are amazing – it allows them to email, do home shopping or to use a scanner to read post.
