I first taught ‘computing classes’ in the late 1980s when it was mainly basic IT skills and word processing – the internet wasn’t available!! I still teach those things but mainly my ‘learners’ are keen to get on-line and take advantage of the wonders of the web! I also endeavour to ‘set-up’ their computers to meet their individual needs and to make them as easy to use as possible. Where I cover: My ‘patch’ is most of the area covered by North Somerset Council (from the coast going east as far as the A38) and also parts of west Bristol.
