Helping people learn new IT skills has been the focus of my career for many years. I work part-time as an ICT school teacher and have taught primary, college and retirement-aged students. Having worked extensively in community education as well as one-to-one, I really enjoy teaching adults who are taking up computing later in life.

Whilst working as a tutor in outreach for Canterbury College I got to teach older learners and found that they were nervous to begin with, but became more confident with practice and that each had a different reason to acquire computer skills. I am a very patient, experienced tutor, who can empathise with older learners having been one myself.
Where I cover: Sittingbourne, Sheppey, Faversham and as far as Headcorn, Whitstable, and Herne Bay.
