Using computers successfully is a blend of knowledge and confidence, as well as a very effective way of saving both time and money. Learning how to use them safely and quickly should be fun as well as informative. I have been designing and delivering IT and computer based training for over a decade to people of all ages and skill levels. I firmly believe that there are no bad learners, just bad tutors, so if you don’t understand something the first time I will go over it again until you do.

I qualified as an Adult Education Tutor in 2003. Since then I have seen many times how learning to use computers and the internet can change someone’s life for the better, helping them keep in touch with family and friends, get more out of their hobbies and interests and save money by shopping online. I also know that computers can be a source of frustration and worry for some people. My aim is to help people learn how to do the things they want, with the minimum of trouble, and the maximum of fun!

I have been a DU Tutor for 7 years.  I specialise in helping beginners to learn how to use computers and the internet but I can also help people who want training in Microsoft Office, basic digital photography etc.  In addition, I help people with disabilities to use computers and am an Approved Trainer for Dolphin software for visual impairment.
