What Clients Say

Tutors give their clients a short questionnaire so that they can send their assessment of the tuition and any comments to Digital Unite Head Office.

The form includes an assessment of the Tutor on a four point scale, from Excellent (4) through Good, then Acceptable and finally Poor (1).

Any comments of Acceptable or Poor are followed up by the Tutor Network Manager.

The average score of forms received in 2008 was 3.8 out of a possible maximum of 4.

Some clients’ comments:

‘Like many in my age group, I have little computer experience. The one to one training is much better than being in a class and I think gives the opportunity to ask more questions and clear-up doubts. My knowledge of computing has very much improved and I feel more confident.’

‘What was especially helpful was the anti-virus / security check-ups. No-one ever teaches you about these and it is difficult to find out what to do.’

‘Bob took his time and gently led me through the mine fields and pitfalls of computing. A really enjoyable time and I look forward to his next visit.’

‘Because of a change of computer and from XP to Vista this was not a conventional course. My tutor was excellent at assisting this changeover. I benefited greatly from his expertise in dealing with dual screens and his answers to my demanding questions. He was always well prepared with good notes to augment the sessions.’

‘I looked forward to my lessons every week, as I felt more confident, due to the excellent tuition I received. I did start off feeling a little wary of using a computer – not any more – looking forward to my next progression.’
